Bluebird is a song I wrote about having a friend who is suicidal and just wanting them to be okay. This song is about being close to someone who is in a very dark place, and wanting so desperately for them to see themselves the way you see them. Wanting them to keep holding on and to keep fighting and wishing that they could see how much light and joy they bring into the world.
